Dear Members of the National Lymphedema Network,
It is with a bittersweet heart that I announce my departure as the Executive Director of our organization. This role has been more than a position; it has been a journey filled with inspiring moments, heartwarming connections, and invaluable lessons.
Reflecting on the last six years, I am overwhelmed with gratitude. Together, we have built a community that not only supports but empowers. Each challenge we faced was met with unwavering dedication and each achievement was a testament to our collective efforts. The memories of our shared experience, resilience, and the many stories that connect us will forever be etched in my heart.
As I step down, I pass the baton to the NLN Board of Directors. Dan Karadsheh, who has served on the Board for the past two years, will step into the role of Interim CEO. Dan will ensure a smooth transition by leading the day-to-day operations of the NLN.
Leaving this role is not an end, but a transition to a new way of supporting and cherishing this incredible community. My commitment to our cause does not wane; it evolves. I will remain an ardent supporter, a steadfast ally, and, above all, a member of this extraordinary family.
Thank you for the honor of serving you, for the trust you placed in me, and for the love that has enveloped me during my tenure. The National Lymphedema Network is not just an organization; it is a home, a sanctuary of hope and strength. As I move forward, I carry with me the lessons learned and the joy experienced, all thanks to each one of you.
With deepest affection and enduring gratitude,
Jeannette Zucker
