Back in January, Facebook announced (another) algorithm update to your newsfeed.
The change will basically prioritize the posts that your friends and family engage with, so you'll see them first when you log into Facebook before you see other content. And hey, while that's great, it also means that you might be seeing less from publishers (like us) in your Facebook newsfeed.
Facebook has always been a place where HealthCentral shares savvy advice, practical health information, and inspiring personal health stories from folks living with chronic health conditions. We want to make sure you continue to see the information and stories that are important to you on Facebook - and you still can!
Here are 4 quick steps you can take right now to ensure you still get the latest from HealthCentral (and other brands you trust) in your Facebook newsfeed:
4. Change your Facebook preferences to prioritize HealthCentral with the following steps:
Go to your Facebook Settings
Select "News Feed Preferences."
Click "Prioritize who to see first" and add our page.
If you need additional help altering your Facebook preferences, check out Facebook's help section.
Let's not let Facebook's new newsfeed algorithm drive a wedge between us. We love that you chose us to be your guide as you navigate life with a chronic illness, and we are here for you, every day, to share helpful resources and inspiring personal health stories to help you live your best life.
Best, Karen Gaudette Brewer Executive Editor of HealthCentral
