Meet our new team member
Maurya Cockrell joins the NLN

Maurya D. Cockrell
DHPE, MHRM, PMP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR
Director of Clinical Education
|
Maurya holds a Doctor of Health Professions Education degree and is a healthcare leader, educator, and scholar-practitioner. She is internationally recognized for her work in social determinants of health and elderspeak. She has experience in healthcare leadership, population health, clinical education, workforce development, program management, and higher education. She has led healthcare initiatives focused on education, organizational improvement, provider experience, and advancing outcomes for patients and communities. She also serves as an adjunct faculty member, educating future healthcare professionals and leaders. Having lived with lymphedema since childhood, Maurya brings both professional expertise and personal perspective to her role. As Director of Clinical Education, she leads the development of clinical and patient education, continuing education programs, professional learning opportunities, and collaborative partnerships. |
