Opportunity for Peer Discussion about a range of Lymphatic topics!

The National Lymphedema Network is excited to offer the NLN Clinical Focus Groups. These meetings were created to provide the opportunity to ask questions, discuss clinical cases and new reasearch, share treatment strategies, and elevate problem-solving skills to deepen your understanding of a specialty topic within lymphology.  The different focus group topics include: Patient Support* - Attend the first meeting FREE! Clinical Practice Barriers Compression Home Care Modalities Emerging CLT - NEW! Oncology Private Practice Research Surgery Wound Care NLN Clinical Focus Groups are open to active Directory, Clinician, and Organization NLN Members only. *Patient Support Group is complimentary to Supporter level members, though anyone in the lymphatic community can participate for $5/meeting. These meetings are live, and each occurs twice a year. To join, please register on the Events page. They will not be recorded for future viewing. Conference Registration Now Open Virtual (Part I) September 14-15, 2024 11:00 am - 7:00 pm EST daily In-Person (Part II) University Health Truman Medical Center 2301 Holmes Street, Kansas City, MO 64108 October 5-6, 2024 8:30 am - 6:30 pm CST daily Register Here Click Here for Conference Schedule This hybrid conference will take place in two parts - virtual and in-person.  The virtual portion will focus on the newest developments in lymphology for research, surgery, therapy interventions, and more. The in-person event will provide hands-on learning for lymphatic modalities, including deep oscillation, kinesiotaping, low level laser, IASTM, and negative pressure.   We are partnering with Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. Please Note:  In order to attend the in-person event, participants must also attend the virtual conference. Space is limited to 100 clinicians for the in-person event - Spaces are filling up fast! Lymphedema Awareness Day!

The National Lymphedema Network is proud to be the organization that initiated this global movement to increase awareness for lymphedema. Our founder, Saskia R.J. Thiadens, advocated to make March 6 Lymphedema Day in honor of the day the NLN became incorporated as a nonprofit. Now it has grown to be known as World Lymphedema Day.
