A Message & Gift from NLN Founder

Dear NLN Members & Friends,

On behalf of my longtime friend and mentor, Professor Cristobal Papendieck, a world renowned pediatric surgeon and lymphologist who has treated hundreds of young patients from around the world with primary lymphedema and various vascular anomalies, I am thrilled to share his beautiful publication The Little Lymph.

As he states, “It’s truly true. It is unknown why lymph is called lymph. It’s supposed to be derived from Nymph, a funny maiden name (It’s me, the Little Lymph) who danced by the mountain streams, like clear water”.
