Remembering
Clem Rayborn Thrift

Kathryn Thrift, former NLN Board Member & former instructor for Dr. Vodder School, lost her beloved husband, Clem Rayborn Thrift, on April 7, 2020. Behind every great lymphologist is someone who deeply believes and supports.

"Clem truly was a champion in the lymphedema world. He always accompanied his wife to NLN conferences and actively participated in patient clinics. He had philosophical discussions with Drs. Michael & Ethel Földi, Drs. John & Judith Casley Smith, and other champions in the field. An engineer by profession, Clem was not only was intrigued by the lymphatic system but he was also eager to witness advances in lymphology. He wanted to make sure patients were receiving the support and education they deserved. Thank you Clem, for who you were."
