She has been working at TIRR Memorial Hermann Outpatient Rehabilitation since 2012 and her clinical interests are neurological rehabilitation, cancer rehabilitation, and lymphedema management. She is certified in lymphedema management and Neuro-IFRAH. She is the Cancer Rehab Program Manager for TIRR network and serves as clinical coordinator at TIRR Outpatient Memorial City. Emilia has assisted in the development of several specialty services for the oncology & lymphedema patient populations including a breast cancer rehabilitation program, a lymphedema support group, and a prehabilitation class. She is passionate about raising awareness of lymphedema, providing resources for patients with lymphedema, and helping patients navigate through the lifestyle changes so they can thrive despite lymphedema.
Her role as Story Ambassador will be to manage incoming stories from patients and clinicians and others that serve to inspire and educate the lymphedema community. | | | | New NLN Membership Platform
