"A Magical Experience" is a triple entrendre. First, the title sets the stage for you to expect a wonderful and extraordinary conference experience. Behind the scenes, we will do all the hard work and take care of all the details so that your experience is seamless. Second, anyone who dedicates their career to Lymphology and/or providing lymphedema treatment understands there is an unquestionably magical element to our work. Lastly, the title provides insight that the conference will have a strong focus on the psychology of Lymphology. Just like a magic show, it's a matter of perspective. Your experience as a member in the audience is a particular version of 'reality' while that of the magician's is another. Both experiences are real and 'correct', but the perspectives are different. The educational program will offer perspective from multiple vantage points on many topics related to Lymphology with the goals of broadening and deepening your knowledge base. We will collaborate and bring everyone together in a meaningful way so that our entire lymphatic community will benefit. We will share the preliminary program in a few weeks.
