December 11, 2018 Newsletter
Thank you so much to our donors and members!
Your extraordinary outpouring of support made it possible to bring back our garment program and offer some new programs.
We had two soft relaunches of the garment program to test our new application process, and garments from these initial requests will soon be distributed. All applications are now electronic and accepted only through the garment portal on our website. We will need one more soft relaunch to confirm our workflow and this is scheduled for January 14, 2019. We are also working to refer to this program as the Marilyn Westbrook Garment Program (instead of Fund). This is to clearly indicate that the program distributes complimentary compression garments and not funds for reimbursement. Thank you so much for your support.
Thriving with Lymphedema
To roll out our Thriving with Lymphedema program we had a photoshoot in New York City on November 11, 2018. Five amazing women modeled their compression garments, but what we captured was their confidence, beauty, and courage. We are considering the best forum to feature these amazing photos and will let you know via our newsletter and website once everything is confirmed.
