MNT—A new study published in The Lancet Neurology indicates that a compound found in green tea, epigallocatechin gallate, could improve cognitive functioning for people with Down syndrome. According to the researchers, the results of their study marks the first time that a particular treatment for Down syndrome has been shown to positively affect cognitive skills.
