Angelina Jolie Becomes Breast Cancer Previvor
Even the most beautiful breasts in Hollywood can become dangerous. Angelina Jolie - actress, director, activist, mom, and now previvor - announced on Tuesday that her famous bosoms are now gone. She has the BRCA1 gene mutation. I'm still trying to picture Brad Pitt helping her with the surgical drains.

Angelina didn't have any cancer (her mother did) but she chose to have double prophylactic mastectomies. Her reconstruction was done with implants - something she never needed before.

Four Types of Mastectomy
I think this is still a dreaded surgery to face, but we now have more choices than existed even 50 years ago. Mastectomies are still a big deal, but some can be easier to recover from.
