From Pam Stephan, your Guide to Breast Cancer
Not your grandmother's cancer memoir! A book that might help just about anybody who is affected by breast cancer.

Chemorella Loses Sneaker, Wins Vince
"Which do you choose, hair or life?" asked Chemorella's doctor. These words leaped off the page at me as I started reading Katy Franco's book about a young woman with long, golden hair. Eleven years ago, I sat in a cold chair in a cancer clinic, facing the same issue. I wish I'd made a memoir like this!

How to Choose a Wig Before Chemotherapy
I had a couple of wigs that I wore while my hair was on chemo-vacation. One looked like "Texas Cheerleader Hair" and was always perfect. The other was a black number that would have made Bettie Page happy. Not that I resemble Bettie in the least!

Chemobrain, a Side Effect of Chemotherapy
I'm sure Chemorella had problems remembering things, or sometimes felt foggy-headed. Perhaps she misplaced her keys once in a while and had to ask one of her nasty room mates to let her back into their apartment. Goodness know, chemobrain is a real bummer. But there are ways to cope with it.
