She also has 20 years of life beyond breast cancer, which makes her a good source of information about life in survivorhood. Her book, "Adventures of a One-Breasted Woman" doesn't paint her as a super-hero, but does reveal just how much searching - and finding - she did in the first 6 years after her diagnosis. Nowdays when she wants to look symmetrical, she has what she calls a "superbra" to keep her clothes fitting as they were designed to.
