Breast cancer is a deadly disease, and although we have more effective treatments and better early detection technologies, there still is no cure. The causes of breast cancer are still unknown, and there is no guaranteed way to prevent it. But by educating yourself and taking control of some lifestyle factors, you can lower your risk of developing this disease.

Know the Four Kinds of Breast Lumps
The good news is: most breast lumps are harmless, even though some of them feel scary and others of them hurt. You need to know which ones those are, so you won't panic when you do your breast self-exam. The bad news is: 20% of breast lumps are cancerous and do require treatment.
