From Pam Stephan, your Guide to Breast Cancer
In 2010, young women represented 30% of the total cases of breast cancer. They were young moms, career women, college students, interns, and women working on their future. They suddenly had to face a host of choices that comes with a diagnosis of breast cancer.

Chemo for Breast Cancer Threatens Fertility in Young Women
Cathy was just 22 when she was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma. To make things worse, it was a high-grade tumor and HER2 positive. With support from her mother and boyfriend, she made it through treatment. But now she wonders if she will ever have children. Read more

Breast Cancer and Young Women's Concerns
Fertility isn't the only challenge that young women with breast cancer face. Their tumors may be more aggressive, with treatments to match. They may be pregnant at diagnosis. Some women need help with childcare, transportation, and meals. Finding the right support group may be difficult. But there are ways to overcome these obstacles.

Relationships and Breast Cancer
I had been married to my husband for more than 20 years when I was diagnosed. We had faced bad times before, but this was different. Dealing with the loss of a breast, hair, and a gaining a new sense of vulnerability got in the way of normal life. Single women have to deal with that as well as dating and workplace issues. A diagnosis of cancer impacts all your relationships.

Breast Cancer Newsletter from BellaOnline.com

Breast Cancer is one of the most stressful ordeals you will encounter in life. Have you considered guided imagery and meditation? When I was first diagnosed, a nurse gave me a guided imagery CD by Dr. Martin Rossman. It turned out to be one of the main lifelines of my journey, and even now, several years later, I go back to it often. It's like refilling the tank when I'm running on empty.

Enjoy ~

Guided Imagery for Breast Cancer
Touted by some as a panacea to all that ails you and condemned by others as a complete hoax, guided imagery is a complimentary therapy that many of us wonder about. How do you do it? Does it really work? Is it dangerous, and are there any side effects?

From Pam Stephan, your Guide to Breast Cancer
Right after I was diagnosed, the first survivor I met was a 10-year survivor! She looked very healthy and was a pillar of strength and information. She inspired me to get out of my pity party and work on planning my future.

My 9-Year Cancerversary
On March 20, I became a 9-year breast cancer survivor! I must admit, that is a very good feeling. But I'm not unique - after all, there are about 2.5 million breast cancer survivors right now. More and more of us are celebrating our freedom from cancer.

Breast Cancer Pain: Symptoms and Statistics
Breast cancer is a sneaky disease that may not always cause breast pain. On the other hand, benign breast lumps can cause breast pain. Some days, it's hard to know when to worry and when to just have a chocolate bon-bon and get on with life.

Fibrocystic Changes - A Benign Breast Condition
Fibrocystic changes in your breasts can make both breasts painful or tender. It may feel alarming, but it's not cancer! You can use some home care for the pain or see your doctor. There's no extra brownie points for enduring breast pain with (or without!) complaining, so just get help.
