2025 Patient Summit and Community Champion

Donate Join the NLN Volunteer Melvin Osborn, a person living with lymphedema, was nominated by his daughter, Debbie.  Debbie states her father "is a very strong patient advocate."  Melvin advocated for the Lymphedema Treatment Act, as well as aided others in finding the support they needed.  Debbie reports that Melvin has held several support group meetings for lymphedema in his community, including the involvement of physicians as well. Melvin and Debbie have participated in parades to help promote Lymphedema Awareness, and Melvin himself has even held his own walk for Lymphedema Awareness.  Melvin has attended multiple National Lymphedema Network Conferences, and was chosen for this spotlight for his advocacy efforts and his generous commitment to the support of others living with lymphedema. Thank you Melvin for all that you do for the lymphology community!
